Cat Fight! Timber Lake Panthers sweep Ipswich Tigers in home doubleheader

The Panthers pulled off two nice wins against the Tigers, and it started with a thrilling 49-46 win for the Timber Lake girls team. Jasmine Nash finished with a double-double totaling 16 points and 11 boards. Jaylee Schoelerman was the other Panther to finish in double-digits scoring 10. Ipswich didn’t go down without a fight, however, scoring 18 in the final quarter and Lavayah Russel hitting a full-court shot at the buzzer that looked perfect from the moment it left her hands. Both teams now sit at .500 on the year at 3-3.
In the second game, the Panthers boys were led by Kanton Hunt and Treyden Beer who combined for 29 of the 61 Timber Lake points in their 61-37 win. The Panthers dominated the entirety of the game, putting on a clinic in the first quarter outscoring the Tigers 25-1. Ipswich had one player finish with double-digits, Max Kulesa with 12. Ipswich falls to 2-3, Timber Lake improves to 3-2.
