FORT MILL, S.C. – A woman is South Carolina is literally jumping for joy after she won $250,000 on a scratch off lottery ticket sold at the RunX gas station on Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill. Surveillance video shows the moment the woman found out she had hit big. You can see her visibly rejoice and embrace the store clerk. At one point the two throw up their hands to the heavens. The big win happened Thursday evening. The owner of the gas station did not want to use his name, but he says it feels good to see a regular customer win some cash. “It’s a good sign for the store as more people would come in for the lottery,” The store owner said. “I’ve sold a couple other big winners at [my] other locations, and I’ve seen an increase of lottery sales. The owner says his store will receive a $2,500 commission for selling the winning scratch off.
