BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The USS North Dakota has shown the nation their excellence once again, and Senator Kevin Cramer is praising them for their efforts. Vice Admiral Rob Gaucher, commander, Submarine Force Atlantic, announced that the USS North Dakota earned the 2024 Battle Efficiency E Award this week. Different commands competed in the 2024 Battle Efficiency E Competition for this honor. The award is given to a command's outstanding performance and overall readiness to carry out wartime tasks. The USS North Dakota was one of just nine commands in the country to receive the award. "When it comes to excellence, North Dakota delivers!" says Kevin Cramer. "The people of our state are honored you carry our name. We pray for you and your loved ones as you keep freedom's flame burning!"
