MSP: Lexington Park man arrested, charged in connection to murder of exwife

ST. MARY'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Maryland State Police (MSP) said a man was arrested and charged in connection to the murder of his ex-wife in Lexington Park on Jan. 3.
MPS said that on Friday at about 11 a.m., police responded to the report of a shooting in the 21000 block of Liberty Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman who had been shot multiple times.

The woman died there. She was identified as Chaquanda Latise Odom, 36, of California, Md.
Police said Odom's husband, Jayson David Pressley, 38, was arrested after he turned himself in at the St. Mary's County Detention Center.
Pressley is being charged with first and second-degree murder.
He is being held at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center without bond.
