SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the back Saturday morning while standing in an alley in San Diego's Colina Del Sol neighborhood, authorities said.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the victim was standing in the east alley of 4300 51st St. shortly after 11 a.m. when an unknown suspect approached him. For reasons unknown, the suspect then stabbed the man in the back before running away from the scene.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. His injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, police said.
The victim was unable to provide a description of the suspect.
