GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - As Jaire Alexander is likely to miss the remainder of the season, the Packers are placing him on injured reserve. Green Bay announced the move at 3 p.m. on Saturday, which comes after Alexander was ruled out for what will be his seventh consecutive inactive gameday. While this means Alexander will miss four games at a minimum, the veteran corner could still return to gameday action should Green Bay make a Super Bowl run after undergoing a knee scope, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. ‘Green and Gold’ movie celebrates Packers, dairy farmers In the 2025 season, Alexander will enter the third year of his four-year $84 million contract extension signed before the 2022 season. Green Bay also elevated linebacker Michael Barrett and safety Omar Brown from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of gameday. The Packers kick off their regular season finale on Sunday at noon against the Bears.
