WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Police are investigating after five people were hurt in a shooting that happened in Northeast D.C. on Friday night.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the shooting at about 8:18 p.m. in the 1500 block of Harry Thomas Way NE.

Officers said they found a man and a woman who had been shot. They were both taken to a hospital while conscious and breathing.
MPD said another two men arrived at the hospital later. They were also conscious and breathing.
Police said there is also a fifth patient, a man, who was also injured in this incident.
MPD said this shooting started from a dispute between known parties.
