Four killed in early morning wrongway crash near Lindsborg

MCPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that left four people dead in McPherson County early Saturday morning.
Around 12:20 a.m., a Honda CR-Z was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-135 south of Kansas Highway 4 near Lindsborg.
Troopers say the Honda continued driving south in the northbound passing lane when it struck a Toyota Rav 4. The Honda came to rest in the median and the Toyota stopped on the right shoulder.
The KHP says the driver of the Honda, 36-year-old Jacob Aich of Hutchinson died in the crash. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital with suspected serious injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, 31-year-old Lydia Barton of Wichita was killed, along with two children who were in the vehicle with her.
