OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — An Oklahoma City woman is facing a felony charge after police say she threw rocks off of an I-35 bridge on Christmas Day that damaged another driver's vehicle.
The incident happened around noon on Christmas Day, according to a probable cause affidavit. Documents say a driver told police they were driving in the northbound lanes of I-35 and approaching southeast 29th Street when they saw Amber Davis standing on a bridge above them. Right after the driver noticed Davis, he said something struck his front windshield, causing the windshield to crack and send shards of glass into the vehicle.
According to documents, officers made contact with a witness, Mara English, who told News 4 employees she called police moments after the incident happened.

"There was a, what looked like a a female figure with a coat and a hood over her head; and she raised her arms in the air and she threw something down," said English. "The car next to me, the GMC, it slowed, it slowed way down, like went around me and then took the next exit."
English said she observed that the vehicle had obvious signs of damage.
"It wasn't shattered to where it was broken through, but it was shattered to where it was cracked all the way through."
The victim, according to documents, was not hurt but got off of the highway and circled back to Davis' location, calling police as well. The victim found Davis still on the same bridge where he said he saw her throw the object. Documents also say Davis noted she understood her rights but said that she was off of her medication and needed a lawyer.
English said she's worried about future incidents like these and would like to see future investments in enhanced safety measures along highway bridges, like tall fencing or gates.
"It does make me aware now that driving down I-35 that you can really just throw anything you want off of a highway or off the bridge onto the highway, and it worries me," said English. "Just be aware and watch out and just know what's going on and watch out for what's going on."
