Pedestrian hit, killed at intersection of Trinity Street, Mason Way, Thomasville police say

THOMASVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — A pedestrian died Friday after being struck by a vehicle, according to the Thomasville Police Department.
At 8:45 p.m., Thomasville officers responded to a crash involving a car and a pedestrian at the intersection of Trinity Street and Mason Way.
A 2013 GMC Acadia was traveling west on Trinity Street as it approached the intersection with Mason Way when the pedestrian, who was reportedly walking west on Trinity Street, was struck while in the roadway.
The pedestrian, Uniqa Mona Robinson, 30, of Thomasville, was taken to a Thomasville hospital where she died due to her injuries.
The driver was uninjured.
