CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A student at Mooresville High School is one of 32 girls nominated for the inaugural Girls Flag Football Player of the Year Award, according to USA Football.
Lilly Rumrill was previously named the Carolina Panthers’ high school flag football player of the year. Rumrill recorded 18 touchdowns and 22 interceptions during her senior season while also playing in the 2024 20U Women’s Select Bowl in Los Angeles.
This month, one of the nominees will be announced as the award’s winner. The award will be presented at the 88th Maxwell Awards on Friday, March 14 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.
