ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Orders are now open for the Monroe County Soil and Water Conservation Districts 2025 Tree and Shrub Program. The program gives landowners an opportunity to take home tree and shrub species that are either native or naturalized to New York State. The organization says the plants can boost property values, enhancing wildlife habitats and minimizing erosion. Orders can be placed through the programs website and will be accepted until March 7. For those who miss the deadlines, there will be an overstock sale at the Monroe County Ecopark on April 26.
