TOPEKA (KSNT) - A man is facing charges, accused of robbing a bank in Junction City last week. On Friday, The U.S. Department of Justice charged a 20-year-old Wichita man with three counts of bank robbery. According to a news release from the agency, it's accusing him robbing Sunflower Bank in Junction City while showing a firearm in Dec, 27 2024. The man is also tied to two other bank robberies in Wichita last month. Investigators believe one of those robberies was with an 18-year-old Wichita woman. The department is also charging her with one count of bank robbery. Several different law enforcement agencies are still investigating the robberies at this time.
