KALIHI, Hawaii (KHON2) -- The Honolulu medical examiner has identified another victim in one of the many New Year's fireworks incidents around Oahu. Get Hawaii's latest morning news delivered to your inbox, sign up for News 2 You According to officials, the 20-year-old man who died from a fireworks blast in Kalihi has been identified as Jayson Ramos. 4 dead, many injured in firework-related calls on Oahu Honolulu EMS responded to the incident off Lukela Lane in Kalihi shortly after 11 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Paramedics treated Ramos for multiple traumatic injuries, including a severe arm injury from a suspected firework blast. In an update, officials said he succumbed to his injuries and died on New Year's Day. The ME provided a statement on Friday, Jan. 3, revealing Ramos died from blast injuries involving the head and right hand.
