GORDON, Wis. (WFRV) - Officials are investigating a fire that occurred in northwest Wisconsin while nobody was home at the time. According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the fire was reported on Thursday morning around 7:20, and deputies from the Sheriff's Office were dispatched. When should I start dripping my faucets? Volunteer fire crews from multiple departments in the area arrived and extinguished the fire in total, but the residence was declared a total loss. Nobody was home, and no injuries were reported. The fire is still under investigation. No more details were provided.
