UPDATE: All lanes along Global Reach South near Montana have reopened after a three-vehicle crash earlier Friday night, Jan. 3. EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - A person was extricated from a vehicle and taken to a local hospital with minor injuries (Code 1) after a three-vehicle crash on Friday night, Jan. 3, in East El Paso, fire dispatch said. Fire dispatch said the call came in at 8:47 p.m. at Global Reach South near Montana. That's near the El Paso International Airport. In addition, the crash closed all lanes at Global Reach South before U.S. 62/180 Montana, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). TxDOT said southbound through traffic must turn back northbound before Montana. Clearing time is estimated at two hours. We will update this story when we learn more.
