UPDATE: All lanes along Global Reach South near Montana have reopened after a three-vehicle crash earlier Friday night, Jan. 3.
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - A person was extricated from a vehicle and taken to a local hospital with minor injuries (Code 1) after a three-vehicle crash on Friday night, Jan. 3, in East El Paso, fire dispatch said.
Fire dispatch said the call came in at 8:47 p.m. at Global Reach South near Montana. That's near the El Paso International Airport.
In addition, the crash closed all lanes at Global Reach South before U.S. 62/180 Montana, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
TxDOT said southbound through traffic must turn back northbound before Montana.
Clearing time is estimated at two hours.
