Man dead after shooting on Plains Port Hudson Road in Baton Rouge, 1 wanted

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office deputies are searching for a suspect after a fatal shooting that occurred around 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Plains Port Hudson Road.
The sheriff's office said Jeremy Wright, 33, was shot multiple times and transported to a hospital with serious injuries. He later died as a result of his injuries.
EBRSO has issued an arrest warrant for Alex Senegal, 32, on charges of second-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
According to witness statements, Wright was helping a relative and Senegal, her boyfriend, with moving between trailers. The sheriff's office said Senegal allegedly accused Wright of stealing drugs, leading to an argument that escalated into a shooting.
