Coroner ID's motorcyclist killed in crash during CHP pursuit

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified a 20-year-old motorcyclist who died after crashing in southwest Bakersfield.
Clay Uriah McLean, 20, was the operator of a yellow 2007 Yamaha motorcycle when he crashed at the intersection of Berkshire Road and Perla Way. He was pronounced deceased on scene.

The California Highway Patrol says on Dec. 27, a Bakersfield unit was engaged in pursuit of the motorcyclist before losing sight at about 7:28 p.m. The officer found McLean involved in a wreck with a Jaguar sedan shortly after.
The driver of the Jaguar remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.
