FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Rep. David Valadao was sworn into the 119th Congress Friday to represent California's 22nd Congressional District. This will be Valadao's sixth term serving in the U.S. House of Representatives. Valadao defeated former Bakersfield area Assemblymember and Democrat Rudy Salas back in November 2024. He also defeated Salas in November 2022. “It is an honor to continue serving the good people of California’s 22nd District this Congress.
