‘Midlothian Depot’ coming to Chesterfield, bringing stores, homes, greenspace and more

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 13-acre site in the Midlothian area of Chesterfield County will soon transition into a new mixed-used development called the "Midlothian Depot."
Atlanta-based developer S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. purchased a 13-acre site situated at the intersection of Midlothian Turnpike and Alverser Drive for $16 million.
According to the development group, the new site will offer residents a variety of amenities like a high-end grocery store, retail shops, residential living options, multiple transportation paths, open greenspaces, a dog park and more.

"This 13-acre site will soon be home to Chesterfield County's first full service organic grocer, alongside an impressive selection of retailers," said Larry Agnew, the vice president of S.l> Nusbaum Realty Co., in a press release.
