Police investigate shooting in Virginia Beach, female injured

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) -- Virginia Beach police are investigating a shooting that injured a female on Friday afternoon. The call came in at approximately 4:45 p.m. for the shooting in the 5000 block of Ferrell Parkway. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
