ARCHDALE, N.C. (WGHP) — One person was killed in a single-car crash on Friday, according to the Archdale Police Department. A press release states that on Friday at 10:43 a.m., APD officers responded to a single-car crash in the 100 block of Havenwood Drive. The driver, Patricia Collins, 58, of Archdale, was found unconscious. Collins was taken to a hospital in Greensboro where she died due to her injuries. According to police, no one else was inside the car at the time of the crash. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
