Public holds retirement party for Wrightstown Police Chief after 32 years of service

WRIGHTSTOWN, Wis. (WFRV) - The Wrightstown Police Department and community are celebrating the career of its Police Chief who retired on Friday after decades of serving the public.
Police Chief Greg Deike took the role in Wrightstown in 2016, before that spending time in other departments, most notably with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office.

Chief Deike accomplished plenty during his 32 years, including 10 years with the SWAT team in Fond du Lac County, where he also managed the forensic lab. He also earned an advanced emergency medical technician license, allowing him extra training in saving lives.

A retirement party was held for Chief Deike at the Wrightstown Village Hall with numerous officials and members of the public in attendance to celebrate his illustrious and long career.
Fond du Lac Police Detective promoted to Lieutenant in 24th year with department
Chief Deike also got a gift from the Wrightstown Fire Department, who he worked with on many occasions.
The Wrightstown Police Department also hosted 'Coffee with a Cop' on Thursday, inviting members of the public to speak with and thank Chief Deike before his retirement.
