GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - As temperatures continue to either drop or stay in the below-freezing territory, the Green Bay Police Department is urging caution to those who use a popular winter tactic. The Green Bay Police issued a post on Facebook reminding people to never leave their vehicle running, unlocked and unattended at any point, even if it's just to warm the car up. Oshkosh PD looking for 23-year-old man who has been missing for roughly 5 months "Whether at the gas station, in your driveway or parked in front of your home, it's essential to LOCK IT and TAKE YOUR KEYS or FOB with you," the post said. Vehicle owners with remote start should use that if they wish to warm up their vehicle before getting in to drive during cold temperatures. In addition, activate some form of anti-theft alarm or device as a precaution if warming the car up. No more information was given.
