BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- You have another chance to help Bakersfield Animal Care Center reduce the overpopulation of dogs and high euthanasia rates within the shelter. BACC is once again waving all adoption fees today and Saturday. The shelter posted a video on its social media page showing the abundance of adoptable small and medium size dogs. Caretakers say these dogs need to find forever homes right away, some are already spayed or neutered. You can stop by for a meet and greet or adopt a new friend from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. BACC is located at 201 S. Mt. Vernon in Bakersfield.
