FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said a person was in critical condition after a house fire early Friday morning. Crews said on X that at about 2:30 a.m., they were sent to a house fire in the 2900 block of Lawrence Dr. Firefighters were working to bring the fire under control. Man hurt in Northeast DC shooting A person was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Fire investigators are at the scene.
