Identity of 78yearold woman killed in Oneida County house fire released

Town of Vernon, N.Y. — The identity of a 78-year-old woman killed in an Oneida County house fire has been released.The woman who died was Penny Davies, according to a news release from the Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol. Davies is listed as the owner of the two-story, four-bedroom home, according to county records.
