PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Providence police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Broad Street just after midnight Friday. Officers responded to the area of Broad Street and Park View finding a male victim who said that an unknown male shot him through the driver’s side window before running off. The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment, according to Providence police. The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown.
