OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Oklahoma City Police have released more information regarding an officer-involved shooting on New Year's Day. According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to a domestic call involving a gun around 1:30 a.m. at a home in the 1400 block of SW 30th St. The person who called said the suspect, Miguel Hernandez, had broken a window and was outside firing shots. LOCAL NEWS: Man arrested after December Oklahoma City homicide Officials say when officers arrived, Hernandez ran off with the gun. During a foot pursuit, Hernandez turned towards the pursuing officer, leading to Hernandez being shot by the officer. Police say Hernandez received non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital before being booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a complaint of possession of a forearm after adjudication.
