LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Fire crews remain on the scene of a massive house fire on Damar Drive in Lexington. Firefighters were dispatched to the 100 block of Damar Drive around 6:30 a.m. Friday morning. According to the Lexington Fire Department, all occupants of the home safely evacuated, and no injuries have been reported. Due to the size of the fire, additional crews were called in to assist. Officials estimate the house to be approximately 9,000 square feet. The fire has been contained, but firefighters are still working to knock down remaining flames and check for hotspots. As of now, 22 pieces of fire equipment are on site. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
