SOUTH CAROLINA (WOLO) – Sumter County deputies have arrested the suspect accused of kidnapping a 1-year-old girl in Florence which prompted an Amber Alert. SLED says Dylan Saige Cooper was abducted by Macie Eaddy, 32, on Thursday. Shortly before 7 a.m. Friday, deputies say they saw a vehicle matching the description in the alert leaving a restaurant on Highway 15 South and performed a felony stop. Eaddy was the only one in the car and mentioned that she dropped off the infant at an apartment complex in Florence, leaving the child with a mutual friend. According to authorities, the name and address of the mutual friend were relayed to the Florence Police Department, who have since taken custody of the infant. Eaddy had outstanding warrants from Florence County, was driving under suspension, and was in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
