Baton Rouge police looking for suspect after teen, grandmother hurt in shooting

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) - The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a teenager and her grandmother.
Officers were called to the 5500 block of St. Gerard Avenue around 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2.
BRPD said they found a grandmother and her 14-year-old granddaughter were hurt. They were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
BRPD is searching for a motive and suspect in this case.
