GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Greenfield City Hall will not be open on Friday to fix the building's internal plumbing.

All meetings scheduled on Friday are either delayed or held virtually. The main sewer drain was installed over 100 years ago and has failed.
The downstairs bathrooms are closed until the repairs are completed.
Greenfield City Hall is expected to re-open with normal business hours on Monday.
The city states that the hall is home to the Office of the Mayor, the Finance Department, the Assessors Department, the City Clerk’s Office, the Licensing Office, the City Clerk’s Office, and Treasurer/Collector’s Office, and the Energy and Sustainability Department.
