KANSAS CITY, MO. -- Kansas City police are investigating the deaths of two children and a man in the Northland. Police said it happened around 9:45 p.m. Thursday at a house on northwest 91st Terrace near 152 and 169 highways. Police were sent to the scene for a "check the welfare call." They called the Kansas City Fire Department to put out a small fire in the home. Police said when the fire was out and officers entered, they found three people shot and killed.Two were children.
