WEST BADEN, Ind. -- Indiana State Police (ISP) issued a Blue Alert early Friday morning for a man wanted for allegedly shooting an Orange County deputy in southern Indiana. ISP is searching for 33-year-old Austin Schepers. He is described as a 5'7", 150 pound white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo of a cross under his left eye, along with multiple tattoos around his neck. Austin Schepers/Indiana State Police He was last seen on Friday, Jan. 3, at 12:58 a.m. driving a silver 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix with Indiana license plate CRT921. An unidentified individual was also in the vehicle. Police said Schepers shot a deputy during a traffic stop in West Baden at the intersection of US 150 and Indiana State Road 56. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
