TEA, S.D. (KELO) — For brides on a budget, it's important to save money where you can.
Maya Feenstra is a 2025 Bride.
"I think all the big stuff booked, I'm planning it myself with my fiancee. So yeah, it's going well," 2025 Bride, Maya Feenstra said.
Like other brides, she is trying to save money where she can, which is why she is at the Bride to Bride 2nd Annual Wedding Rummage Sale.
"The wedding rummage is really it's kind of our overflow of items that maybe have been in the store and long timing for the store or items that we have an abundance of. So just kind of trying to clear out a house a little bit on our end as well as help the community," Bride to Bride owner, Courtney Thorpe said.
Anything a bride could want can be found here, from candles to arches, signs and more. They even have wedding dresses.

"Some of them are priced upwards of $5,000-$6,000. And we have a price of $100 today. They are most of them are in great condition. Nothing really wrong with them. Just last season's dresses," Thorpe said.
If you're new to the wedding planning process, they will even have wedding planners at the event, who understand the importance of sticking to a budget.
"A lot of my brides are DIY and they do want to figure out how to save money to be able to maybe put a little bit more of their budget somewhere else. It's a little more not important to them, but it has more of a value to their day," Plan to Plan Weddings owner, Melissa Tuttle said.
It's all in an effort to help brides plan their weddings in a sustainable and cost friendly way.
"I feel like when you buy stuff secondhand, it all has a little bit more character to it. There's a story behind it. And yeah, I just think it's really a great event to go to and like even get ideas from," Feenstra said.
"It's one day, and the dollar amount on that day can add up really fast. And as much as we want your day to be is extremely special as it can be, if you can keep your cost down on certain items, why not take advantage of that?" Thorpe said.
The wedding rummage will be taking place today through Saturday at the Prairie View Event Hall in Tea.
