COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — After this past election, some new faces are joining the Richland County Council. Thursday afternoon, six members were sworn in at a ceremony at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.  One of those was Derrek Pugh, who was re-elected to another four-year term. Voters also re-elected Jesica Mackey in District 9. Another re-elected council member, Cheryl English, also spoke highly about her district’s economic development. The ceremonial swearing in also included two new faces. Tyra Little replaces Yvonne McBride in District 3.
