WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- Illuminations at Botanica will be wrapping up a day early. The annual holiday event at Wichita’s botanical gardens was scheduled to end on Jan. 4. However, due to winter weather expected to move in this weekend, the decision was made to close a day early. Friday night will be the final night for Illuminations. Winter Weather advisory and watch are in effect for much of Kansas from noon Saturday into Sunday. Freezing rain will transition to snow, with accumulation expected in Wichita.
