Fourstar WR Donovan Murph commits to Gamecock football

On Thursday, at the Under Armour All-American game, local product Donovan Murph announced his commitment to stay home and play for Gamecock football.
Murph, a standout wide receiver at Irmo High School, is a four-star pass catcher who has 2,412 yards and 29 touchdowns over two seasons.
The South Carolina native made the commitment to become a Gamecock over in-state rival Clemson as well as Colorado, Ole Miss, and Tennessee.
South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer has landed three of the top four ranked 2025 recruits in the Palmetto State.
Murph is the cousin of Gamecock legend and Super Bowl champion wide receiver Alshon Jeffery.
