A death investigation was underway after an Alabama woman was found dead inside a West Loop apartment Wednesday night. Just before 8 p.m., officers responded to a call of service at the home in the 1500 block of West Warren Boulevard and found Kristina Romandine, 33, unresponsive with trauma to her head, Chicago police said. Romandine, of Bay Minette, Alabama, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. An autopsy was scheduled and Area 3 detectives were investigating.
