IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Five adults and one juvenile were charged after an illegal street takeover in Iredell County, according to North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Troopers confirmed with Queen City News about 40 vehicles were involved. Around 5:10 p.m. on Monday, authorities responded to the 400 block of Barfield Road about reports of reckless driving. When they arrived, they saw the road completely blocked off due to the illegal street takeover. Troopers said six trucks were turned over to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office. The five adults were all charged with careless and reckless driving, street takeover, and injury to real property: Eli Chance Pharr, 18 Gage Myquea Angel Jr., 20 Isaiah Antonio Villegas, 27 Nicholas James Lufkin, 20 Nathaniel Madison Harris, 27 A juvenile was also charged in connection to this incident.
