Baton Rouge Police: Man identified in deadly shooting on Longfellow Drive

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting on New Year's Day that left one man dead.
According to the police, around 3:20 p.m., detectives were responding to a reported shooting in the 5400 block of Longfellow Drive. Upon arrival, detectives found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. The man was later identified as Terry Wayne Jones, 35.
Jones died of his injuries at the scene, police said.
