MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Police in Montgomery County are looking for information that would help identify a man who was seriously hurt in a collision on New Year's Eve. Just before 6:15 p.m., officers with the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded to the area of University Boulevard and East Franklin Avenue. There, police said a man was hit by at least one car. As of Wednesday, he was still in the hospital in critical condition, having suffered life-threatening injuries. New Year’s Eve shooting in Prince George’s County leaves DC man dead, another injured He was described as a Hispanic man in his early 30s. At the time of the incident, he was wearing jeans, a black jacket and a black shirt. Detectives think he may live in the area near East Franklin Avenue. MCPD is asking for help finding the victim's family. They urged anyone who may recognize his description or who may have a missing loved one to contact them at (301) 279-8000.
