ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County's Metropolitan Court has a new presiding Civil Division Judge. Effective Wednesday, Judge Jason M. Jaramillo is taking over the role after the recent retirement of Judge Frank A. Sedillo. Suspect accused of shooting Albuquerque security guard appears in court Judge Jaramillo has served in the court's civil division since 2019 when he was appointed to the bench by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. He is also native to Albuquerque, having graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law and was admitted to the state bar in 2007.
