Sunshine came back to open up 2025 for KC as highs finished in the low 40s. Clouds, though, will return tonight as a quick rain/snow mix is possible. There may be some flurries around and especially north of the Metro for the AM rush, which could slow things down. Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing to the low 40s by the afternoon as the precip moves east. Colder air moves in for Friday and Saturday as the next storm approaches. A wintry mix to snow scenario is expected late Saturday through Sunday evening, with accumulating snow expected! Stay tuned!
