Woman fighting for life after being hit by vehicle in Henrico, police seeking ID

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is fighting for her life after police said she was hit by a vehicle on Broad Street in Henrico County on New Year's Eve. Officials are asking for the public's help to identify her.
At 9:31 p.m. on Dec. 31, officers with the Henrico County Police Division and responders with the Henrico County Division of Fire responded to a call for a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of West Broad Street and Carousel Lane.
Police said the woman was running west across West Broad Street when she was hit by a vehicle. The driver stayed on the scene and is cooperating with police. Neither alcohol nor speed appear to be factors in the crash, according to officials.
Police said she is currently unconscious, and officials are seeking the public's help to identify her and contact her family.
She's described by police as being a white woman with curly brown hair who stands between 5 feet, 2 inches and 5 feet, 4 inches tall. Police said she weighs between 120 and 140 pounds and appears to be in her 20s.
She was reportedly wearing a black Carhartt sweatshirt and light blue Under Armour shoes.
