A panhandler begging for change on a Brooklyn street was fatally struck by an Audi driver who dragged him for a half mile in a harrowing hit and run, police said Wednesday. Michael Foster was walking in the roadway on Caton Ave. near Flatbush Ave. in Flatbush when the speeding driver of a white Audi plowed into him about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, cops said. The driver dragged Foster, 64, for half a mile before the victim fell away from the car, landing in the street near Linden Blvd. and Nostrand Ave., cops said. He died at the scene. The NYPD Highway Patrol investigates the fatal hit-and-run crash on Linden Blvd. and Nostrand Ave. in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
