Update: Wind advisory affecting New York until Thursday afternoon

On Wednesday at 3:41 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory valid from 1 p.m. until Thursday 1 p.m. for Seneca, Tompkins and Cortland counties.The weather service describes, "West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph expected."
