Update: Central NY under a lake effect snow warning until early Sunday evening

On Wednesday at 3:39 a.m. an updated lake effect snow warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 1 p.m. until Sunday 4 p.m. for Oneida, Onondaga and Madison counties.The weather service says, "Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to 20 inches over several days, but 2 to 4 feet will be possible in Northern Oneida County. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph."
