Crash on eastbound 24 in Orinda temporarily blocks lanes

(KRON) -- A multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound lanes of Highway 24 in Orinda temporarily blocked the left lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP advised drivers to expect delays, use alternate routes, and avoid the area.

According to the CHP incident log, the crash was initially caused by a ladder in the roadway. There is no estimated time to reopen the roadway, according to the CHP.
As of just before 3 p.m., all lanes were back open, although residual delays are expected.
